No Vaccination Appointments for Those Below Age of 18 Yet

Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) have previously announced that children aged 12 and above can register to get their Covid-19 vaccinations via the MySehjahtera app. However, they won’t be receiving any appointments for the vaccination.

This decision is due to wanting to avoid any risks of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the pericardium, the fibrous sac surrounding the heart) that was shown in an American study.

Those below the age of 18 are still able to register for the vaccination for the future if there is any changes or updates.
